I really don't like Trump, and I certainly think there should be some sort of investigation or trial, rather than just saying Joe Biden absolutely sexually assaulted his former staffer Tara Reade, but it is genuinely disheartening to see so many supposedly "respectable" journalists seemingly ignoring this story right now. This shouldn't just be brushed under the carpet. Reade's allegations should be taken and treated seriously, and be given the consideration they deserve.

There's something going on that's a little more important to our everyday lives than an accusation about something that might have happened some years ago.

It's curious. Joe Biden began his political career in the 1970s & only now, after nearly five decades, one person comes forward with an allegation?
It's almost as if someone doesn't want Joe Biden to win in November.

Yes yes, we've heard this before, but it is generally better to believe the aggrieved party in noncriminal proceedings than the accused.

Just offering an admittedly biased take in favor of the presumptive Democratic nominee.

Even though Joe Biden would be a better President than Donald Trump, a thorough investigation is merited.

Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanagh also faced allegations like this. They're both on the Supreme Court. That doesn't make total dismissiveness of such allegations right. Someone has to put a stop to the tit-for-tat type of politics. The Democrats have shown that they are living up to higher standard with the resignation of Al Franken. Joe Biden shouldn't be immune to the same sort of scrutiny.

At least you have the insight to recognize "Neener neener my side's better!" Is a biased take.
