A D55—R45 split plus the vice presidency would be devastating to the Republican party. That would even make retaking the Senate in '22 a pipe dream.

It would also bring the House to something like D255—R175, which would make passing bills much easier.

That would be beyond beautiful. I pray that happens in November

Me too, it would be amazing to see.

Also, new Democratic senators means new potential Democratic presidential candidates or cabinet member candidates in five or six years.

"Left-wing" is subjective. The real issue is "centrism" that is built on contradictions (ie. talking the progressive talk without walking the progressive walk) tarnishes credibility.

So did Ben Carson, John Kasich, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio. How'd that work out for them?

Are you trying to say that I am wrong about Biden being super left-wing compared to Clinton? If not, what was the point of you saying that?

I'd need specific issues on which there is a meaningful and pronounced difference... one that offsets the alleged ways in which he's worse.

They each got fewer votes than the person who got fewer votes than a woman.

And not just any woman. One you consider worse than Joe Biden, I remind you.

Medicare-for-all-who-want-it is a huge step leftward from Clinton's platform. Also, Biden supports a $15 minimum wage, which was a major point of contention between Sanders and Clinton.

I could name others, but those are probably the biggest ones.

The Republican field isn't really occupied by voters who think "I'll vote for someone based on their genitals." Or, at least, not in the same manner as Democrats.

The last time we experimented with this resulted in Sarah Palin and Carly Fiorina. Once a practical female Republican runs, we'll see how it turns out.

Acknowledging that a candidate is female now means that we're only voting for that candidate because she's female?
