Daily reminder, actual communists put communists on concentration camps for being the wrong flavor of communist.

Gulags were closer to American prisons than they were to the Nazi concentration/death camps.

Over 1 million political prisoners were killed during the Holocaust.

Well, since an anonymous guy on the internet said so without evidence... I'm convinced.

516,841 deaths vs 12-20 million.

And apparently, some of the former can be attributed to a lack of food IN GENERAL, so I think we can safely say that the gulags weren't death camps. Also, according to the author of the Black Book of Communism - a source which is highly anti-Soviet, so the numbers here ought to be taken with that in mind - said that the death toll ranged from 1% to 20%, with the 20% being in the aforementioned famine.

Man that's nothing compared to the 77 million killed under China.
The details of the above post are subject to leftist infighting.

12-20 million didn't die in concentration camps, so I'm not sure what you think you're comparing here. The entire Holocaust vs. just deaths in Gulags seems a bit deceptive.

Fascism is strange. They nationalized a bunch of stuff and expanded welfare programs, but did so to build bigger militaries with which to take over the world, not to bring about a communist society. It's economically left-wing, but with right-wing militaristic goals.

Every economic action of fascist regimes was done to bolster the military.

Pinochet proves my point. He fell after liberalizing the market, when he was forced to call elections after the plebiscite, it was largely due to pressure from market forces
