Wait, wasn't that pride?

Two sides of the same coin I guess, carry on.

Pride is fine as long as it's actually based on something to be proud off. And having that something ain't easy, let me tell you. But that's what makes it worth it.

This is like those little clips where the candidates big themselves up on the first episode of a season of The Apprentice and I sort of love it.

TLDR today I looked at my schedule and realized I basically completed the work I was scheduled to be doing until the end of April in two weeks time. I deserve a bit of boasting.

I've besn fired from almost every job I've had IRL because of reason 2, so...

It still beats people assuming that I'm not giving it my best, though...

Its better to be considered lazy broadly speaking, because a lazy person can always be motivated to work given the right incentives, most of the time. If someone sets their mind to something or feels that it is worth doing, they'll usually do what it takes to make progress, if not make an attempt.

How do you know it was because of that? Are you assuming or they told you? Matters what kind of work it is also.

It is better. Of course it's not ideal, though. But it wouldn't be an IM hypothetical if one of the options were definitely perfect.
