I consider myself straight, but I really don't think I've ever been in love. I've not had a crush or really felt any sort of romantic attraction since high school (4 years ago). I'm open to the idea of being in a relationship with a guy, but I honestly don't see that ever happening and I probably will remain single for the rest of my life, and I'm okay with that too. Even though there is a small part of me that would like to pursue a relationship.

My parents understand, but most people I know don't. One of my friends is just completely stunned that I've never been in a relationship (and thinks I should get with one of my close guy friends). My mom's best friend just knows I'm going to change my mind soon and want to settle down and have a family (the fact that her daughter, who is the same age as me is getting married this summer does not help). My grandma seems to think there's something wrong with me for not really wanting to get married.
