How do we know this? Because the first step toward Communism is Socialism, and none of the aforementioned are even remotely Socialist in any way, shape, or form.

Secularism I would say has definitely made the world a better place.

I mean, the stats don’t really add up. I have honestly only met a few atheists in person before.
According to Wikipedia, there are “200 million to 240 million self-identified atheists worldwide”, and the world has a population of more than 7.5 billion.

Irreligious is another term for agnostic atheist though.
The issue is that most of the time, those people are more on the line of Agnostic Theists who aren't fond of going to church.
Why do you think Neopaganism is seeing the boom it is? People are looking for something, finding holes in Christianity and turning elsewhere.

Explain.
To give you the brief summary, stem cell research was a prominent debate in the 2004 election cycle. There was a South Park episode about it. ("Kenny Dies," although that one was wrong about the source of stem cells; they were portrayed as coming from fetuses and not from IVF or lab zygotes.) The Anti-Bush Game (a 2004-era flash game) featured references to it. Bush resorted to a veto over it. And he got re-elected.
That said, you should look into it further. You really should know a bit more about a key ingredient in the re-election of the former leader of the free world...

The weight of religious inference in Hitler’s speeches far outweigh the occasional criticism he had against religious institutions.

You cannot possibly "kill" the concept of not believing in any god or gods. Even if you could convert everyone on Earth, you can't stop people from having a personal crisis of faith. I guarantee you that there are people in your own religious community who are actually atheists.
Not really. The idea of the spooky scaries and spirits is pretty darn natural.
Animism is the default, even if not inherently formalized.

Other than that, why do you think religion is toxic?

It infects us in our deepest integrity. It says we wouldn't know right or wrong without it. It says we must kneel to an unquestionable, unalterable supreme authority. Whom we must love, and fear. And threatens children with eternal torment if they do not.
Among other things.

That’s just the Abrahamic faiths.
