Just because you deem well rounded people a good thing doesn't make it so. We would lose nothing by letting people make their own choices of what courses to take. Making people study things they have no interest in just leads to bitterness.

Bitterness? Really? Have issues of somebody being the boss of you? Just deal with it. Everybody else before you did. Most people now are doing it.

The bible quite clearly states that God is capable of forming city sized craters and obliterating the surface of the earth using water. I'm not sure what that amount of force applied to a single focus would do.

I remember once being surprised how versatile gender studies are, because I came upon job(s) where they wanted people with that background despite the fact I've completely opposite sort of background.
Perhaps I should've applied at "Researcher at energy/heating customs of women in Iran (IIRC)". lol

Literature and music do actually make valuable contributions to our culture. The same cannot be said for much of the liberal arts, but hey, nothing's perfect.

"For much" =/= all

Yeah, but given the things you're ok excluding from being eliminated and how those things seem to keep widening and gathering more and more nebulous definitions, it seems pretty clear that like the rest of the alt-right SJWs, your real issue is that you just want to get rid of some classes you don't like- aka, any classes that talk a lot about or try to analysis social oppression, either in the present or throughout history, especially based on race and gender, and you rationalize this by saying those things have become "liberal propaganda" and/or are simply not worth anyone's time to study

That's what its supposed to be about, and that's the idea I'd like to carry with me going forward as I try to advance my own career.

imagine a journalist telling other people that their disciplines must go on the trash pile because they aren't "fact based" or they have "propaganda" in the academic discourse or- I'm sorry I'm laughing too hard I must step away for a moment

Oh, and sources regularly give contradictory accounts, or are clearly not presenting "truth".

We can't give them back the years of experience or wages they lost while going to school but we can make it right in some way. The issue is all current plans do not go far enough.

Some plans want Uncle Sam involved. This isn't the worst idea tbh. Uncle Sam is generally incompetent and incapable when it comes to determining educational priorities. This will both choke off the flow of money to bloated institutions and the amount students as we will have to ration who goes, plus it severely damage the unis themselves.
