The big concern with Sanders imo is that Trump could dumb a lot of his ideas down to "Bernie is gonna raise your taxes, and it's not gonna be just a little bit okay, he's gonna raise them a lot." and just hammer him on things like that.

Those are also things he would say about every other Democrat lol

the problem with constantly crying socialism with Obama and Clinton is now that you actually have a socialist in the game, the outrage can't get cranked up much further about it :p

What you have here is the boy who cried wolf.

Got it, so if "America" is in the country name they're Americans

but hmmm that leaves us with a northern America and a southern America... what should we call those people... perhaps...

south americans

Not an entirely different culture and ethnic group like south americans

ah yes, south america, a notoriously monolithic ethnocultural entity

anyways, that aside, I agree, southerners are no different culturally or ethnically in any way from yankees and anyone who says so is sowing dissent and treason within the republic! we must stamp out this disunity, great nations like the US shouldn't have regionalism- we must look to China and France for our example there, not Russia or Britain. Imagine letting regions have flags and teaching people about their history of cultural and political difference from the rest of the metropole!

And they were basically racist libertarians

And also traitors. You know. Racist traitors. Don't forget the traitor part it's important

I'd rather have South Americans. Bring me all the coca tea, Brazilian BBQ, and alpaca sweaters.

Why we're talking about South Americans, though, when most of the immigration isn't from there...

Sanders has now overtaken Biden in the betting odds as the favorite to win the nomination.

Image

In fact, the odds give him a 56.8% chance of winning Iowa (up 13.5% in the last week) a 70.0% chance of winning New Hampshire (+17.2%), and a 57.5% chance of winning Nevada.
The details of the above post are subject to leftist infighting.

I officially endorse Fivey Fox for president of the United States.

I think Sanders would be a disaster in a general election. Many of his polices will scare off key voters and he will go down to a big defeat possibly putting the house in play too but Democrats seem keen on shooting themselves in the foot and blowing a winnable election locking themselves out of power for a decade due to 2020 being a census year.

I want to be wrong but Im afraid ill have to say I told you so but the damage will have been done.

Literally every national, Florida, and Michigan poll taken in the last month shows Sanders beating Trump by at least two points.

Welp, you reap what you sow

you can't expect to invite people like Bernie and AOC into your camp, normalize them and there radical followers and expect them to bend the knee...radicals don't bend....

I really don't see it getting any better for Trump. I mean even Republican strategists are afraid of a post-acquittal "trickle down" of extremely damaging information throughout the campaign period. The economy is going to go into recession most likely before the election. There are no more policy goals that Trump can reasonably succeed in implementing by November.

All Republicans will do is hammer how Bernie wants to raise your taxes and take away your healthcare and bankrupt the country. Dont think that wont be an effective attack. I want to be wrong believe me.

Tbh, they were going to do that with whoever the nominee was anyway.
