Looking at this from the long-term, letting Trump have a second try could be better off for the Dems. It's almost certain he will have a tougher time than during the first term and he may be in office long enough to actually feel the consequences for some of his actions such as budget shortfalls and a slowing economy, which might turn the opinion of the general public away from him than if he were to leave right now, considering he also just got acquitted and his approval ratings have remained near consistent since the start.

I'm not gonna support anyone who has a plan that's anything less than abolishing ICE and making a better immigration system. People are trapped in prison for life for enjoying recreational drugs.
