Eh, I am taking the piss a little bit since Iowa's so high-stakes at the moment. Still, though, I also wouldn't necessarily put it past the DNC to actually pull that shit.

Fair enough, I just don't see that happening. They might try to broker the convention or play some dirty tricks here and there, but this isn't 1968. If the DNC wanted to rig Iowa, I think we'd see Biden in first.

Another point of contention, to be fair here, is that we had about half of 2016's caucus results by this time.

If they are rigging it, I'd imagine they've pivoted to supporting younger blood given what happened in 2016.

I'm going through the NYT updates, apparently the result-lag is caused in part by Precinct Captains and Comitteepeople not knowing how the fuck to operate the new app for data entry.

It's a known fact that the DNC is shitting themselves over a Sanders insurgency, but unless anything concrete comes out about legitimate voter fraud, I just won't buy the "rigging" narrative. There are other ways to effectively rig a primary process without voter fraud.

He's just sketchy as fuck, that's my major gripe with him. His statements regarding his time at McKinsey reek of backtracking and deflecting. Just another opportunist who has never won more than 10,000 votes in an election.

I would love it if he ran for a house district in Indiana or something and stays there or pivots up to the Senate afterward.

If he bought the RNC and rammed it to the ground I would love Bloomberg. Just like if he bought NewsCorp and ran that thing to the ground.

I wouldn't because the only reason he'd ram them into the ground is if he plans to merge them with the DNC, and the DNC already has enough problems without throwing more Republicans into it.

Plus if he takes control of all the parties we might as well call it the United States of Bloomberg. :o

Regardless, it shows they weren't fucking ready for such a new chance. And again, shows why Caucuses need to be abolished: because if this was a Primary, we would have results by now. This is an embarrassing blemish for the DNC and shows their operations aren't fully organized, not a good a thing when you're trying to take the White House.

If there is a shenanigan, or possibly even malarkey, afoot, then I expect it won't be anything like outright changing the results. But maybe stalling the reporting to push any victory speech back, let it get buried under impeachment news.

We obviously need to remove Caucuses. That should be a clear message at this point.

That might be OK actually, I can't tell without knowing the total numbers in that precinct.

Total numbers determine the quota per delegate, you subtract the quota from the total until there is less than one quota left. THEN for the last delegate you award to the candidate with the most (but less than 1 quota). OR if two candidates have the same number, toss a coin.

If the coin toss had gone the other way, it would be 5/3 which doesn't match the figures any better than 4/4 does.

You must acknowledge the coin toss in at least some cases. Say 43 votes each?
