I wish that all those theories saying that Obama is a socialist were actually true...sadly, he's just a neoliberal war criminal.

Likely Sanders will win but his margin of victory might be smaller.

Biden is hitting Mayor Pete hard now trying to get back support. But I do worry about NH. Bernie needs to campaign hard the next couple of days.

At this point calling someone a "neoliberal war criminal" is about as meaningful as the GOP calling them a socialist.
I've never met anybody that self-identified as a "neoliberal" unless they were doing it as a self-deprecating joke. It's not an ideology that people subscribe to as much as it's a handy slur for left-leaning people to insult other left-leaning people when they don't screech loud enough about the establishment being evil and 2016 primaries being rigged.

Ok, so please consider me ignorant on economics (unironically, it's the only class I ever got a C in), but why is this the case?

Farmers it seems will vote Republican no matter what. You could nominate my dog in some rural districts and he or she would be elected simply because there is an R next to their name

You could make Karl Marx a Republican and Richard Spencer a Democrat and they would still vote for Marx. Teleporting those folks before the party switch would be an amazing headspin for them tbh.

Very true as much as I dont want it to be. In rural Nevada a deceased brothel owner got elected in 2018 despite voters being informed he was deceased at polling stations in accordance with state law.

Republicans will literally elect a dead pimp over a Democrat.
