not likely otherwise they would have already been named in the broadcasts or online already

the only way would be if there bodies were mangled worse then Kobe and his 13 year old. another person was a Baseball coach from Orange County College so that's 5 identified minus the pilot which makes 6 so I doubt the remaining of the Bryant family was onboard

Man. Honestly. I always hated the Lakers. Hated Shaq and yes, hated Kobe. Not on any personal level but just because he was so dang good, and I always preferred rooting for the underdog. In a weird way, I kinda enjoyed hating him. All that to say I always respected the heck out of the guy, and he defined an entire generation of basketball.

When my friend informed me today of his death, I straight up didn't believe him. I had to google it myself. I have no words. It's shocking. It's tragic. And to find out his daughter passed away too just increases the tragedy. May they and the other passengers rest in peace, and may the Bryant family find some small comfort in the outpouring of sympathy they're receiving.

were not plus just don't think it then replace those thoughts with prayers and good memories of growing up with Kobe his career and the wonderful meme his name created that brought us laughter on the internet

I haven't heard anything about this being a mechanical failure. The NTSB will be looking at all sorts of factors.

Neither of these things matter enough to change minds. The wealthy will make their excuses, and the company's reputation will be scarred. Likely.

Unlikely. It's a Sikorsky S-76, they're apparently one of the safer helicopters out there: https://flightsafety.org/hs/hs_jan-feb94.pdf

Kobe's model was an S-76D, I don't know if those are capable of solo IFR operation, but if not then the fact that it was a single pilot flying in fog is pretty damning evidence towards pilot error.

According to WIki, it was an S-76B. I've heard speculation that with nine people aboard it might have been overloaded.

In that case it most likely wouldn't be equipped for solo IFR.

I doubt it was overloaded, the S-76 can carry a maximum of 14 people in the transport configuration; if Kobe had the VIP seating configuration 10 would be the maximum seating capacity, but the weight shouldn't have been an issue.
