It's actually pretty brutal. People leaping from one object to the next and smashing their face into stuff.
This woman just decided to basically fall face first from one object onto the next and faceplanted.

They do slow mo replays.

I'll probably watch just one episode though.

The lava is some kind of comedy goo or something, just flooding the room slowly, and their goal is to get out.

It's also got a hyperserious narrator who insists the lava is real.

I can't see how it can last longer than one season though.

EDIT:

Talia just sacrificed herself, leaping to smash her face into and thus push an object over and form a bridge to the exit, before falling into the lava. The rest of her family survived.

Her Mom told her to do it. Savage.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

I have a theory on how to get people behaving more responsibly. The government should remind people that the FY1's will be starting their jobs as doctors in hospitals in August and they were all waived through without having to pass any of their final exams.

It's not a very good argument because it relies entirely on collective guilt and unfounded assumptions about motive. Which, you know, ironic.

1. The "should have known better given the previous controversy" argument is effectively one of guilt by association in which RLB is made responsible for things other people have said. It is also takes as read that the previous controversy was largely legitimate when siginificant elements were politically-motivated hatchet jobs stirred up by diaspora groups annoyed at Corbynist criticism of Israel and by wider news media haunted by the spectre of actual socialism.
2. Just because something has been a historic trope does not mean that it cannot actually be happening or that people legitimately believe it to be happening without being under the influence of the trope. Jews and Israeli organisations can act self-interestedly, inhumanely or secretly and so on just like any other individuals or states. The fact that these things are historic tropes does not mean that they cannot happen and that those who rightly or wrongly believe they have evidence of such a thing are axiomatically succumbing to racist conspiracy.

The thread sounds nice but the argument is without actual content.

Hotel was used for asylum seekers. Been told the attacker was an asylum seeker, perhaps been denied asylum and worried about deportation? Police Scotland only reporting one fatality, the attacker.

Very unfortunate. The city center is my favourite part of Glasgow, I walk up West George Street regularly.

And because we needed more proof that #ClapForTheNHS and #ClapForCarers was utterly performative:

Only a handful of MPs turned up to debate a pay rise for health and social care workers

Less than 20 MPs turned up today to a parliamentary debate on ‘recognising and rewarding’ health and social care staff for their hard-work during COVID-19.

The debate was triggered after a petition titled ‘Increase pay for NHS healthcare workers and recognise their work’ received more than 160,000 signatures

According to a recent YouGov survey, a massive 77% of the public support a pay rise for nurses.

Three other petitions were also debated including one that calls for the controversial immigration health surcharge to be scrapped for health workers and another that would grant citizenship to non-British health and social care workers who assisted during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Matt Hancock, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, was most notably absent.

Alex Davies-Jones, the Labour MP for Pontypridd, Wales, said during the debate: “The coronavirus pandemic provides a unique opportunity to try and show our thanks and appreciation.

The problem with Bailey is threefold. First for a prospective education secretary to be seemingly lacking the critical thinking skills to fully appreciate the full contents of the article. Second to then not straight away realise her error but instead tried to justify it. Third regardless of content a lack of awareness that perhaps given everything going on with her side of the labour party anything that says anything that could be even remotely seen as antisemitic should just be held away from her with a bargepole.

lmao the credentials for any ministerial post in this country is to be a failed journalist and parrot what the party tells you. critical thinking not required.

Second to then not straight away realise her error but instead tried to justify it.

these people do not believe in legitimate mistakes, absolution or forgiveness so no dice there.

I personally would be in favour of PR though I would be happier if those similar to my ideology came to dominate Parliament even in a PR system. Perhaps this can help the rise of less mainstream parties pass more Acts that I find amicable.

Positive news, but we need to bump those numbers up. Then actually implement it. Like we should have done in the 19bloody50s.
