You still have the Spanish blocking. I do see Scotland joining but it will be slow walked I would say 7 to 10 years because the EU is about letting European countries join provided to meet Western European normative standards. Though on those standards since the Greek fiasco you will find the financial standards are more tightly enforced. And if Scotland finds itself outside of major trade unions they would need US trade meet the financial standards.

And yet you won't actually explain what is wrong with those socio-cultural stances beyond vague "multiculutralism bad" statements that seem to be based on assumptions that the working classes are all just a little bit racist and we need to accept that.

I do wonder, would there ever be a situation which could disprove your worldview? Or is everything just an affirmation to you?

You could show me progressive policies working in terms of actually producing equality.

Jettison the progressive left and their ideology and accept a view of racism and sexism more in line with the majority of the populace, I.E, that it can effect males and whites too and that includes structurally. Fix mens issues from an MRM perspective. Curb immigration and respect the publics wishes on this rather than denying them their agency in a democratic system.

SCOTTISH voters back a legal battle with Boris Johnson over indyref2 if he continues to refuse a Section 30 order, a new poll has revealed.

More than half believe the Scottish Parliament should legislate to hold a referendum if Westminster does not agree to it – and then allow the courts to decide if it can take place.

I see the SNP's propaganda mouthpiece is trying to distract from the Mackay scandal.

Yeah a storm ended one of our gazebos once, we didnt have the time to take it down prior so we tried to reinforce it and tie the legs to the wall of our garden with cables to anchor it but it fucked up the metal and broke like all the legs.

My family does not have a good track record with gazebos lol, the most recent thing we ordered was a wooden kind of frame esque one that we would have over the chairs out back, and the wood was a hollow plywood piece of shit that fell apart in your hands.

What is it with the hard-left and being anti-military? Where did Brezhnev-esque interventionism go? Even if you don't support interventionism you may still support protecting your newly socialist country from invasion. As well as the anti-military aspect, it's also just plain undemocratic; if you're going to have a public vote on war then it should be a public vote rather than just letting trade unions and Momentum decide.

Plot twist; he's actually pro-military and he's letting Momentum decide so that they can feel that they had a more direct role in the glorious Anglo-Swedish war of 2021. *nods*

I wonder if Sinn Feins performance in the Irish Republic Election will have an impact on how things are up here in the North. A very good performance by Sinn Fein (as it definitely seems to be so far) might embolden them further towards calling for a border poll, especially if one of the other two big parties caves and has to form a coalition with them to form a government.

Wonder how the DUP will take the outcome of this election. Actually why am i asking i know the answer to that.

The far left in the UK has always been like that for the most part, except in WW1 when many of the parties supported the war.

Labour supported WW1, and opposed WW2 (Until it started.). They opposed the Falklands, and supported Iraq.

It gets a bit much sometimes trying to be a member of this party.

RLB is reporting Starmer for breaching party rules, and a couple of people are saying he should be barred from running.

Timeline:
Starmer expressed concern RLB would have access to members data not available to other candidates, and the response from the party leadership was to accuse him of hacking the party, report him, and leak that accusation to the press. The usual suspects then start nattering to themselves about how its unacceptable and he should be disqualified.

Oh boy, are you ready for the collapse of the Labour party?
