In my view we should be tossing out foreign ownership of our infrastructure. It’s nothing short of international prostitution and makes us nothing more than free real estate to any other power. British Infrastructure should be in British hands.

I wouldn't say it is free real estate, they bought it, and someone got richer from it.

Not the regular folks though, that would have been silly :p

Everybody uses other peoples tech in their 5g infrastructure, apart from China. That's what happens when the 3 largest producers of telecoms equipment are in China, Finland and Sweden.

The issue of foreign ownership of British infrastructure has always been a point of contempt for me. Same with the foreign ownership of British companies. If the British state or its patriotic nationals don’t own it, then it should be taken back into British hands.

We obviously need to develop our own 5G industry and technology then so we can throw off reliance on China.

With any hope of stopping the global climate catastrophe going well and truly off of a cliff, we have to figure out how best to protect ourselves from its worst effects. Throwing off the shackles of foreign capital and taking infrastructure back into state hands are both absolutely necessary steps towards that.

I know someone who has left the party over this and other measures, several more who left in march. At least in my local area their grassroots are taking a battering.

What is it with people not being able to deal with very minor inconveniences for the sake of others? Like it is a piece of fabric your putting over you mouth and nose. The worst it will do is feel a bit unconformable or if your someone, like me, with glasses fog them up. I think that is a price worth paying if it means stopping a pandemic. And as far as I know the law is only mandating fines for not complying. So I really fail to understand what the fuck these twats are angry about.

one problem I've seen is the lack of information and guidance for exempt groups. The list hasn't been published on the official government guidance and is only accessible if you go out of your way to look for it; the government also doesn't issue exemption cards aside from ones which you print out at home which for obvious reasons look pretty unprofessional.

Down in Birmingham for a couple of days, and it's weird seeing a total lack of face masks in shops and other indoor areas, as Scotland has a near 100% use of masks in aforementioned areas.

What do you think the 11% of your income parliament sends to me gets you?

Now for your Corona virus treatment with your discount card that will be about 20,000 pounds.
