We should all be mostly fine. Our government is testing people for the virus on the daily, many of whom are testing negative, others being quarantined as a proper precaution (even if it's unsure if they have it). Point is - there really aren't many people roaming the streets of the US carrying this virus.

. But then they convinced themselves that it only costs 4 dollars, so it left for its trip just today according to the tracking, but the problem of the virus remains and indeed could be even made worse by the fact that the phone remained so long under consideration at the internal exchange center with the package open and examined by various people.

Problem being that I have a Xiaomi Black Shark arriving from Shenzhen: ordered on 21, departed on 23 January, it's late since it was blocked at customs due to problems with the invoice. They do not believed that it costs only 4 dollars and therefore does not have to pay any import tax. Well I do not think it can live long outside of organic tissue.
You bigger concern is Xiaomi will give all your data to the PRC government.
You bought a piece of spyware.

Yes. Xiaomi stores all their data on servers in the PRC, that the PRC government has free and open access to. No warrants, no judges.
You basically are giving your data to their secret police.
That is a much higher risk than getting a natural virus from it.
