Now the death toll is over 3,200
now it is a concern

Perhaps the worst doomsday scenario is this: being stuck on the toilet and finding you're down to the last square. At least that appears to be the nightmare prospect scaring many Australians right now, who have become the latest group to respond to coronavirus fears by buying toilet paper en masse.

This is despite authorities stressing there is no shortage - given most of the nation's rolls are made locally. However in Sydney, the nation's largest city, supermarket shelves have been cleared in minutes, forcing one chain to enforce a four-pack buying limit. Police were even called to a dispute on Wednesday, with reports saying a knife was pulled out in an argument over toilet roll between panic buying shoppers.

The release of the new James Bond film has been put back by seven months as coronavirus continues to spread.

The producers said they had moved the release of No Time To Die from April to November after "careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace".

Sounds like the case at Yeshiva University here in NYC was last on their campus February 27, they're disinfecting dorms and classrooms but the women still have classes, and given the virus's incubation period we'll have to wait a couple weeks to see if a bunch of cases suddenly crop up across NYC... I'm sure I don't need to explain how bad it would be both for NYC and the country if a sick person here gets on a crowded subway or starts coughing in JFK

So it seems this might explain situations of the coronavirus infecting the same person twice. It seems it mutated into a less aggressive form sometime in January, with the more aggressive form being the one that hit China hard.

If so, there is good and bad news. On the good news side, it seems the quarantine might have helped slow the spread of the more aggressive form. On the bad news side, the less aggressive form is potentially easily spread. Also on the bad news side, this might make containment a practical impossibility.

Some racist morons beat up a student from Singapore in Oxford Street while shouting "we don't want your coronavirus in our country".

Seems to me if you think someone might have coronavirus getting close enough to beat them up is probably not a good idea. Still what do you expect from your average shit for brains racist.

^_Seangoli, mh i much much doubt it, that ‘virus has changed’ and so. all is possible, yet not plausible. i just mean, be prudent, why hurry hipothesys.

not fault, good reading is cautious reading, not ‘catching it first’ as tv corps in rich countries we live do, these days. people will learn again.

Lol, they weren't using coronavirus as a reason to beat up someone they don't like, they were using it as an excuse. They wanted to beat them up, it's unlikely they wouldn't have if coronavirus wasn't a real thing, they would have found some other excuse to beat up a random person they don't like.

Jesus. Some people are truly stupid. This along with people thinking they can get infected from corona beer is making me lose some faith in humanity.

Perhaps the police should have said that their victim tested positive and that they needed to contact authorities immediately for treatment.

Old image and I'm not the one who made it.

And that's quite an assumption. I'm merely pointing out that the overwhelming majority of the people who died had underlying health issues, chronic health conditions, or otherwise compromised immune systems. You can't just look at the surface, you have to actually dig into the data pertaining to those who died. Once you do that you realize that it's not as lethal as the media is making it out to be.

Also, I'm salty as fuck that my portfolio is blood red thanks to all this.

Not as lethal for some people. I'm about to get checked for a non-COVID-19 chronic respiratory condition so...thanks a lot, I guess?
