They had a reporter in the White House asking trump if calling it the China virus fuels anti chinese racism. Trump responded that the virus comes from China, and for the first time in his life is actually right about something.

China doesn't want this to stick to them, and they have a whole bunch of mindless useful idiots in the west trying to force everyone to stop pointing out the origin of COVID. Sorry, but I'm not gonna stop pointing out why and where this began.

The Chinese Health Organization refuses to call it the Wuhan virus because something something Sinophobia. Dr. Tedros and the CHO have yet to say anything critical of China's response to the pandemic while criticizing the United States and other countries and saying stupid things like travel bans are counterproductive. I wonder why? How much were they paid by China to praise Xi to the rooftops? Covid-19 is a PC move by the CHO to please its Chinese masters.

I don't think that calling it wuhan virus really does anything against the Chinese. China propagated the disease by suppressing individuals who were ready to inform others about the disease and arresting them. I too think the WHO has fucked up their handling of the disease. But I do not think that calling it the Wuhan virus makes up for that, or really does anything. The blame can be pinned on China (as I feel some of it rightfully should be) but calling it Wuhan or Chinese virus does anything. The WHO should at least admonish China (the extent of their power) but they won't, and we just have to live with it.

Forgive me, I'm just trying my best to determine what this thread is defining "SJW" as.

No, opposing racism is not being an SJW. As someone who has witnessed actual racism (two black kids attacking an asian student, a young Jewish kid being accosted by racist skinheads, an Italian american guy referring to one of our school's best basketball players as a "nigger," and a girl threatening to deport my friend george back to our island of origin), it is admirable to fight bigotry.

What is not admirable is crying wolf about racism when it isn't there or believing it's there because a foreign government said so. Attacking asian people because of COVID is not okay. Pointing out the chinese origin of COVID and pointing out how the CCP made a huge mistake is more than okay. If you wanna say "dont beat up asians because of COVID," then by all means go right ahead.
