By that metric when Steve Bannon calls himself a Leninist due to his desire to destroy, and create a western Evola style vanguard against Islam that means he is right.

I doubt also that Lenin wanted to live in the Happy Garden where all the men and women shared their genitals and ate grapes from the Infinite Grape Machine, if he even thought it was possible to live in the Happy Garden with the Infinite Grape Machine, but we no doubt must all agree that Lenin was one big communist guy.

Umm what does that have to do with anything? Most the people on here are so far outside the US mainstream it is absurd. Even if the majority on RWDT are, that says nothing about the US as a whole.

Nevadan (and Oregonian [?]) sovereign citizen secessionists won a nice little victory following that big to do down at the ranch by Bundy, and company some time back. Not saying its big, but it is there, and all it takes is the right push for the strings to come apart if given enough pressure.

I viewed the Bundy stand-off and related incidents as a victory for local ranchers more so than as a victory for secessionists. A lot of the issues surrounding those minor clashes had to do with grazing rights, grazing fees, and the overly harsh response by government agencies to perceived violations of the law. While a lot of the people who threw their support behind Ammon Bundy were militia types, the larger sympathetic public consisted of ranchers and rural folks who thought the government was behaving unjustly and that those injustices might extend to them. I will point out that I don't think Bundy was necessarily in the right but the government could have approached the situation differently, by not seizing the family's cattle or throwing old people in prison on what amounted to trumped-up charges. My grandfather has a very pro-Bundy outlook on that issue while thinking they're still idiots.

I only say this since the Bundy patriarch is pretty much on the record for advocating the Nevada state constitution as having primacy over the United States federal constitution.

That's not surprising given that he was upset about disputes over grazing rights that occurred with federal agencies. Governments should really strive not to get draconian with ranchers and farmers when it's not necessary. Those people will outlast them every time and will have a very sympathetic local population behind them in almost every case.

The joke is that the only true way to sustain a perpetual revolution without stagnation is culling of the government leadership every set amount of years. The Soviets perfected it to a degree by having their leaders become so old they died within years of assuming power.

Well Russia did have substantial communist parties then, although state suppression meant a lot was underground.

But it would not be right to say Russia in 1900 was Communist either.
