Sure it is, "Guns" cover a massive breadth of devices, I own a gun designed for and optimized for hitting paper targets, specifically. I have a gun designed for and optimized for teaching children shooting skills, I have a gun designed for and optimized for teaching people how a gun works, in fact, that last one is wholly incapable of harming anyone, well, as a gun, I suppose if you threw it at someone hard enough it could harm.
Fair point. I'd include most of those as the exceptions I mentioned, but it is a fair point nonetheless.

It's also worth noting that "designed to kill" is also deceptive on and of itself. I have a gun specifically designed and intended for killing, but would make a far inferior weapon than a typical brick.

Sounds pretty snowflake behaviour to me.

Let’s see how well the American government plays this ridiculous game. “Oh they (the protestors) have guns and bombs but if the police start beating anyone to make arrests... the police are to blame.”
If things do escalate, I hope to see the PRC pass a “Virginia Human Rights and Democracy Act” as an ultimate act of irony.

I don't think they have bombs, although they most certainly do have guns. Unless they start actively using said guns though, beating the shit out of them or mass arresting them for just protesting would be a tyrannical act.

Have they done anything violent yet (these rebels)?

What is the point of gun control, it's not to keep people safe, it's not to stop gun violence because most of the gun violence is done by people who get their guns illegally and have the money to get their guns illegally.
It's not to stop mass shootings because the vast majority of mass shootings come from people who were perfectly normal up until the day they woke up and decided to kill people.
So why indeed?Neu California wrote: With sources. Lots of non-right wing sources.
I don't have any right wing sources because I'm not right wing.
Most of the other gun rights people on NSG know this already.
I can only give you my theory from a leftist perspective that views gun control through class issues and in some case race issues.
And it paints that gun control mostly comes from a group of people who personally never need to use guns so in their mind no one needs to use guns.
I could develop more but are you really willing to listen?Neu California wrote:

Just having some fun.
