Because Charlottesville was a bunch of Nazis lol

Btw everyone got mad at trump for saying there were violent people on all sides despite the fact that technically he was right. After all, antifa was in Charlottesville too, but I guess it's ok when antifa violently assaults everybody and runs rampant

Beating people with hammers and bike locks and shooting at Steve scalise along with trying to firebombna a detention center all equate to that kind of behavior

You had to put together several unrelated incidents to say they equal the Charlottesville Mr. Mercedes. Desperation there.

That wasn't even what Trump was talking about. In context his statement was pretty clearly about the statue debate, not the events at Charlottesville.

100% it was. There's a very real chance the British could have been forced to the negotiation table if the BEF had been destroyed. Instead they just lost a bunch of equipment but managed to get out of dodge.

I'm shocked given your radical view on what constitutes slavery, you'd be excited at police state tactics being brought out. Truly the hypocrisy of your positions has no end!

Arresting people who mount terrorist attacks on your capitol is not "police state tactics".

Seeing as none of said evidence has come to light, only the word of a Gov who's known to be an unbelievable git himself, I can't with good conscience take his word for it. Especially since the other side (as already posted here) has openly denounced violence at the rally and is telling people to peacefully protest via non compliance at the rally.

Rather a lot of violent events arise from a radical subset of an otherwise non-violent group of protestors.

Yeah, shitting on people's enumerated negative rights is the right thing to do, because he's such a loving authoritarian and all.

No ones rights are being infringed upon. The executive and legislature were elected in a free and Fair election. These groups don’t have the right to attempt a coup

when a militia shows up, it's not as easy as arrest them all. Sometimes you gotta bring in the military

Sure: the relevant security forces will see off any terrorist attacks. After that, they can arrest the surviving attackers at their leisure.
