What is Your Political Ideology?

Ideologies! You know them, you may love them. Conservatism, liberalism, communism, Third Pos, anarcho-monarchism, anarcho-nazbol. But out of interest, where does NSG lie? (I believe there was a topic on this, but it got locked due to gravedigging).

My ideology is anarcho-communism, which is communism but we skipped the dictatorship of the proletariat part. The economy is decentralised and owned by the workers themselves. This is a far-left ideology.

So what about you NSG? Take it away!

I consider myself centre-left in most ways.

Many would say I'm not a true lefty because I don't buy the whole 'seize the means of production' thing, and many would say I'm a socialist because I believe in things like free universal healthcare and caring for the less fortunate.

I also like a good sprinkling of erring on the side of freedom in most cases for things like 'hate speech' and the like.

Socialist Anti-Republican. I work for the socialist workers' paradise but vote for the most likely candidate to defeat any Republican candidate in any and all races.

Last time I took a political alignment test, I wasn't more than 1 in any direction, through very slightly leaning left liberal.

Far left. I see capitalism as a severe catalyst of biological devolution in humans. My ideal world is a Army-state to destroy the current society, big agriculture and the corporations and have people return to self reliance. Also destroy the medical institution to re-implement natural selection and to lower the population by letting the sick and old die, while the young and healthy survive. I see humans as nothing beyond animals, we should live in nature. The cities will run out of food, fuel and electricity and their populations will collapse. The urban society will be no more.

It's hard to say.

I have a generally capitalist conservative or even libertarian attitude towards the role of government in policy regarding social and economic matters in general, but at the same time I am a staunch supporter of government action regarding labor unions, protection for workers' rights - especially mandatory sick and maternal/paternal leave, environmental protection laws, and strict government oversight to ensure products are safe to consume with the overall goal of eliminating negative externalities from the capitalist system. Similarly, I am absolutely and unequivocally opposed to the bank bailouts and central bank manipulation of the economy since the financial crisis. I'm also a non-interventionist, even borderline isolationist when it comes to foreign policy.

Maybe liberterian socialist? I don't really give myself a defined label, but I'm pro small government, I'm open to anarchism but not totally sold on the idea, I'm pretty anti trad and I think everyone deserves the same rights unless they unironically like teen titans go or YouTube rewind. If they like teen titans go or YouTube rewind, I support putting them in a rocket and sending them wherever the voyager probe went.

I would peg you as a libertarian socialist on those points since we overlap quite a lot on non-economic issues. The closest analogue I can think of for my ideology is one-nation conservatism.

Economically, I'm pro regulated capitalism, I think some restrictions are necessary to protect consumers.

I am very socially liberal/libertarian. I support individual rights above all else. I believe freedom of speech, freedom of religion, gun rights, civil rights, and all other freedoms must be upheld by force if necessary. Nothing makes me angrier than the government getting involved in people's lives when it doesn't need to.

Overall, I'd call myself some sort of liberal, although I don't really fit in with any political parties.

I mean, I guess in these troubling times it's not cool to do gender stuff, but I'm pretty sure that's what I've gathered
