I'd consider myself at least fairly right-wing libertarian.
No, that doesn't include slavery. Not only is it a violation of the NAP, but it's simply obsolete. If you really want to see how unrestrained capitalism can screw over the common man in a vacuum with no regards to the fact resources are finite, look no further than automation. Why pay workers when you can have robots that don't need to eat, sleep, or own a home doing menial labor tasks? At least, when precision isn't necessary. Like for janitor work, for instance. I'm sure the jobs robots largely displace will still exist, but for high end products that are in relative terms astronomically more expensive than their competition, even if the price itself doesn't change much.
And it's not really a political ideology, but I think technologically we'll need to revert to the 1950s. Not the since known to be harmful stuff, but nuclear power plants (by this I mean fission, since fusion is a codeword for furnace that only accepts cash for fuel) and biomass-fueled steam locomotives are going to see a bit of a comeback when oil (and by extension, fossil gas) becomes prohibitively expensive and hard to find.

I took the Alt Values test and it said "to be decided." Apparently it can't make sense of me.

Here are my results: https://altvalues.github.io/results.htm ... aesth=40.0

I don't think I will be adding this to my RL Politics dispatch though, as my results are inconclusive and I am not sure I really agree with the axis that Alt Values is using. So many of them feel like false choices to me.

Here's an example from the first four, but believe me other axis also feel like false choices to me.

For the Individualist vs Collectivist axis, I am of the opinion you can't have individualism without collectivism and that you cannot have collectivism without individualism.

For the market vs planned axis, I find both market socialism and planned socialism acceptable, though I am against market capitalism, and I would prefer creating a hybrid between market socialism and planned socialism and seeing how that works and then deciding if we want more planning, less planning, or other alternative models altogether.

For the essentialist vs constructivist axis, I believe that almost every single one of our traits and attributes are a mix of complex genetic and complex environmental factors, and the right environmental factors can have a profound effect on anyone regardless of their genetic profile.

For the pragmatic vs idealist axis, I believe I am most certainly idealistic and utopian, however I want pragmatic and practical ways to achieve such ideals and I believe that utopianism is the practical way forward for society.

I consider myself a sort of authoritarian centrist. I believe that the government should rule with an iron hand, not fist. The government must also be held accountable for any actions not done in the interest of its citizens.

I can see how mine might appear cursed :p

I think my came out seeming less nationalised as I favour a decentralised form of socialism. As for the religious one, I take a lot of views from buddhism but am strongly against implementing any form of religion on society as a whole, as well as being against controlling it.

my biggest beef is with the 95% individualism tbh, aesthetic and religious views are more a personal thing and idrc whether you're not religious (which a large part of the religious score seems to be measured by your personal views, not just whether you support secularism) or whether you happen to personally like futurist aesthetics, even though i am personally the opposite
