"Anarcho-council-communist-anarcho-syndicalist with Trotskyist characteristics" is a mouthful so just call me a leftist.

It's not a wacky meme ideology; it's too close to the center of the Overton Window. 2/10, would not rage against the status quo with. :p

The way I see it, I'm significantly more communitarian than the status quo. Because I think society has lost its ties with the individual being connected with the greater community and its emphasis on it, now focusing on more voluntary ties instead. It's not horrible by any means but atomisation is becoming increasingly prevalent where it's becoming more acceptable for individuals to completely separate themselves from others to the point where other social ties are completely voluntary. I really fucking hate people who say sacrifice is wrong and that the individual ultimately lacks responsibilities to society as a whole.

I'm going to pull a huge hippie libertarian here but I also believe that our rights are being subverted more and more over time. Our privacy and personal rights are being curbed in the name of '''''safety''''' and '''''national security''''' and our rights to defend against others are also being curbed. Free speech is another one, where it's being curbed in the name of 'stopping extremism' when if anything, it actually shuns every side except the government's side which is extreme and borderline totalitarian. I think everyone should be able to stand for their values however they like. If anything free speech would actually help to stop extremism as it allows people to actually debate with extremists and point out the flaws in their ideology as an oppose to shunning them, turning them even more hateful and ironically even more extreme.

So close to the centre of the Overton window? Not really I'd say.

The joke went over your head, it seems. Sorry m8.
I may return for somewhat longer than I was initially expecting. Why am I here? No idea whatsoever. I really ought to find some way out of this place.

Also, the NS stats don't reflect my RL views, just to clarify.

I'm anti voter suppression, gerrymandering, soliciting and/or extorting election interference from foreign countries. Ergo, anti-Republican. Personally I think these "Democratic Socialists" are really Social Democrats, which is preferable to either Republican or Corporatist "Democrat" but a far cry from pro-working class, which is what is needed; I don't know many actual socialsts who own a third home on a lake like Bernie Sanders does. But if Bloomberg is the Democratic nominee he has my vote; so would a yaller dog.

Would actual socialists detest Republicans more and at least vote Democratic? Or at least a Bernie Sanders type Democrat, even though he's more of a social democrat.

It depends. As a ML I can see myself voting for Bernie as he is the most anti-war candidate, and because he is very pro-LGBTQIA+ rights which greatly impact my life.

I am a Marxist-Leninist; I strive to be at least.

I support a revolutionary party of dedicated professional revolutionaries, I know the the working class is the force that can upend capitalism and develop socialism, which will eventually turn to communism. I believe we live in the age of imperialist super-capitalism, and that imperialism remains the primary contradiction in the world today.

I support socialism and the liberation of all oppressed peoples from capitalism, imperialism, colonialism and neocolonialism, racism, misogyny, lgbt oppression, ableism, and all forms of oppression.
For socialism and liberation for all oppressed peoples!
