According to new research by demographers this year will mark the first time children of color will outnumber whites in the US and in the coming years and decades it will only grow. Whites are predicted to be a minority around 2035. There are already several states where whites are minority, Nevada and Hawaii being two of them.

I think this Is where a lot of the bluster and bigotry in recent years stems from. You see it in the massive refugee reduction to attempts to roll back voting rights and make it harder to vote. Some are afraid of this demographic change. There is no reason to be. Everyone is equal and skin color makes no difference.

When it comes to politics if you can’t win because your base is shrinking try reaching out to those communities.

This isn’t just a thing in the USA. Canada is predicted to be majority non white soon after the the US.

Good for them i guess, couldnt care less. Not gona be the end of the world like some people will make it out to be, nor a thing to celebrate either, its just a thing thats happening.

They will simultaneously trumpet this as a great victory and ensuring their political victory for the next 20 years, as San Lumen does, while calling you a bigot for questioning whether this is a good path. Okay, but as this is happening, the race-politics correlation is decreasing even quicker. More minorities voted for Romney than for McCain, and more minorities voted for Trump than for Romney. Young people simply don't care to vote upon racial lines as much as their forebears.

Yes, I think this is also where the rise in anti semitism has come from as well. Its seen a massive increase in my area including a mass stabbing over Hanukkah

White people have always been the minority. Globally speaking, I really don't see where this belief that caucasians are the largest demographic in the world comes from.

tbf the US was pretty explicitly founded as a white mans country, Congress moved pretty quickly to say only good white Europeans could be citizens

I think my opinion on this shall basically echo what's been said over this thread. Doesn't matter. Race, in the grand scheme of things, is something so pitiably insignificant that the only thing keeping it relevant is the thankfully ever-dwindling rhetoric behind identity politics.

Probably from the 1900s, where Europeans were ~20% of the world's population and the second largest group after Asians. Europeans outnumbered Africans approximately 5 to 1.

As someone who grew up White (worth noting: I'm actually 1/8th hispanic), in a majority non-white area, I have no illusions about where this leads. I spent my childhood being picked on and actively attacked for my skin colour, and I have spent half my life around "children of colour." You may see everyone as equal, but they certainly do not.

Make no mistake, this will come to violence whether "white (European)" people want it to or not.

That all being said, at a macro-level racial tension and violence is ultimately a tool used by the wealthy to keep the poor divided. Familiarity breeds contempt, and the upper class know that keeping lower and middle class whites in close proximity to non-Europeans will focus their contempt on eachother rather than the upper class.

Ultimately the best course of action would be to finally strike back against the wealthy capitalist elite before voluntarily settling in our ancestral lands of origin. Humans are pretty stupid, and that outcome will never happen.

Then you are ignoring the words of people of color tbh, the ones there. Infact a certain school board member opined on it. Perhaps instead silencing PoC you might take them seriously?
