Actually there is no proof the “Sampson Option” actually exists as claimed. Nor could they actually cause a global nuclear Holocaust.

But they could and would nuke Damascus as a last resort, of it actually got that bad, not that it would because Syria is in no shape to actually launch a successful offensive.

I wouldn't put it past them. What I ment by global Nuclear Holocaust is start but nuking a nation who then fires their nukes thus leading to a chain reaction.

They simply pointed out if the situation got desperate enough they might have to hit Damascus and Cairo.
