Let's not also forget that morality is subjective and no specific correct code of conduct can be applied, no matter who from.

That being said, people should be able to practise whatever they want, but having it on a high place in society is a no-no.

That's a little excessive. People should stop being offended by things like this, but faith should stay.

Huh? I am complaining about religion being hindrance to the current society and its progress, and that secularism should take its place. So, by your logic, secularism can somehow hinder the progress of our society?

Clear up your point, please.

That's up to the culture, not the government.

One way or another, if enough people hold a certain value, that value is going to end up in a high place.

There's nothing you can do about it.

So, political indoctrination.

That's real dystopian of you. As well as making a farce of what education should be.

Insofar as a robust scientific education is indoctrination.

You're strawmanning me? I never said a thing about religion being divisive. I mean it is, but it's of less concern than the fact that religion is a giant old tumor on the society that has long ceased to be benign.

The thread is about offending jews, or not offending jews as the case may be.

If you want to talk religion good or evil start a thread for that.

I think RIP is more of a respect thing than a religious thing. Kinda like saying bless you when someone sneezes, sure there might be atheist who've had this said to them, but should they be taking it as a threat on their belief or a simple kind gesture?
