You mean "ridicule" by telling them to go and do all the works to create rebellions (manufacture gunpowder, smuggle guns, raise funds, train soldiers) for themselves, and then insinuating that they are a coward by spending time on the forum?

There's no freedom of speech on this site. It's Max Barry's playground and he dutifully told us so. If you feel distressed by the rules, you are free to create your own blogs. I hear WordPress is making a Premium discount.

Why would supporters of the CCP not feel at home here: there is one person who has a set of rules that everyone must follow, and those who act against the rules may disappear.

However, lest anyone think I'm serious, let's analyse the crucial differences: here, the rules are clearly laid out before you (where-as the rules of the National Security Law are intentionally vague), they only apply to those who willingly signed up to the site (where-as Xi Jinping forced the National Security Law on the people of Hong Kong, including non-permanent residents of Hong Kong), the NS moderation process is open and clear (unlike China, to which those who break the vague National Security Law will be sent, no-one is declared guilty after "protracted sham prosecutions" based on coerced confessions from people forced to spend six months in forced incommunicado from friends and family and on the will of the government), being punished does not involved being subject to torture and having organs forcibly removed, and finally, if players are unhappy, they can leave (people who leave China know their families will be threatened if they say anything against the CCP).

So, really, it's not the same at all. Not even slightly.

I actually strongly support allowing PRC loyalists to have free speech here so that the rest of humanity can understand the dangerous and delusional ideology of Sinostatism. That’s really sad.

This is another piece of evidence showing that China needs to be abolished. Is there serious hatred between Germans and Austrians, Bulgarians and North Macedonians, Serbs and Republika Srpska residents, Romanians and Moldovans etc? No. What caused Chinese people from different polities to hate each other so much? There is one answer, namely the existence of China. It is China that historically treats its own subjects like shit. It is China that historically viewed internal discontent to be something much worse than even foreign invasions. It is China that masquerades as a nation state but in fact is absurdly brutal to both minorities and the majority. China, the 2,200+-year-old Qin-style totalitarian fascist state, needs to be abolished once and for all so that people, both Chinese and non-Chinese, can finally be liberated from this monster that has corrupted the entire world not with extreme ideologies such as communism but with political corruption, brutality and surveillance tech.

There's been other worse aspects, where a protest leader who'd fled to the UK had his bank account, and those of his family, frozen on trumped up charges. Thing is there was no court case here, the accounts were simply frozen and when the issues was raised the claim of corruption came up despite having audited accounts as to exact spend.

It's a bullshit charge aimed at intimidating someone through his family and illegally freezing accounts by fiat not law. HK is essentially the same as China now in that if they don't like you they'll simply act above the law and make up lies as an excuse.
