What is it they say again about PRACTICING WHAT YOU PREACH?
There was an interesting article with a relationship expert a long time ago, a guy who was very good at predicting when a relationship was irrevocably broken. He said a relationship can handle arguments, it can handle anger, it can handle resentment, it can even handle cheating.
What it cannot handle, the sign a relationship was unsalvageable, was when there was disdain.
And I think that's where we are, there is mere disdain for the government and police. No surprise at the hypocrisy or blundering tactics, just a level of disdain. We're simply divorced from the government.
So when they tell us not to wear masks we ignore them, when they refuse to close the borders the medical community goes on strike until they do.
This will all come to a messy end I'm afraid, there is no longer any middle ground of compromise, either HK is crushed by China or we retain all our freedoms of interference from China.
