It's like the Nobel Peace Prize, It's not exactly measured by objective standards, and people frankly get far too worked up over who does and doesn't get it. (looking at some of the absolute monsters who've gotten Peace Prizes should make people realise that it's not measured by anything objective fairly quickly, Kissinger, Teresa and the like, but for some reason it doesn't tweak).

As I said, it's nothing to get worked up over, and she has been a person of significance in a global movement this year (I have my own issue with people who try to almost treat her like some kind of deity or try to suggest she says things that she doesn't actually say, but that's a separate issue).

Her whole point is, "listen to the climate scientists". That's a perfectly sensible position to get behind.
