Obviously Putin won't give a shit about China's human rights abuses, but neither do Western politicians and woke corporations. We can get Russia to take action against China because have many aligned interests, including the fact that Russia's trade relationship with China is entirely one-side as everything is geared towards looting Russia at the benefit of China. Furthermore, Siberia is currently incubating a demographic timebomb that could result in Russia losing it to China, which would basically spell doom for the planet and start the world's largest environmental catastrophe.
Because Russia doesn't want to be colonized by China and we want to stop China from being a superpower, it seems we should align together against China. However, US stupidity in foreign policy has pushed Russia into China's hands as being part of China's sphere gives Russia short-term security and protection against American aggression. Once the American threat withers away however (which will happen as the US continues to decline on multiple metrics), Russia is going to be fucked. We can reverse both our long-term decline against China and Russia can prevent its Sinicization if we work together long-term.
Just like Nixon helped turn China against the USSR in the 1970s, we need to turn Russia against China today.
