When we look at the history of Turkey we see a lot of different style nations. Which one do you think is the best ?

My opinion
A Social Democratic Kemalist Turkey that ensures the justice of the region.

1-Justice
2-Legal recognition of homosexuals
3-Happy people

Ehh, wouldn't the Byzantine Empire better fit into a Best Greece (or best Roman Empire) thread ...? There wasn't really much Turkish about it until 1453.

Also, Byzantine Empire? Cilicia? Hittites? Latin Empire? Hatay State? None of those had anything to do with Turkey, really. The last one existed for literally one or two days before being annexed by Turkey.

The thread should be called Best Anatolia? or Best Asia Minor since those are the geographical terms for the place. If the thread were about specifically ethnic Turks, the Poll would need to include Khazars, Hephthalites, Uzbeks etc.

Probably. Though, with how well-regarded we Turks are on the site, such a thread is probably a foregone conclusion. Not that this one isn't: The Byzantine circlejerk started on page 1.
