Zimmerman's a pretty white last name, and his skin tone is that of a tanned white guy. I know he's hispanic, but white hispanics exist. Also, white passing exists. If he isn't white, he definitely gets perceived as white, and therefore treated like it.

He does not pass as white, at all lol. Being Hispanic myself I can tell you that the dude looks clearly mixed. My gripe wasn’t that he was Hispanic, because white hispanics and Latinos absolutely exist, he’s just not one of them.
