That said, I vaguely remember hearing about this gentleman, and was briefly intrigued for a bit. Coming back in retrospect, I do not find the same intrigue as I once did. I have a strange sense of empathy.

I suspect he had a lot of trauma happen to him over the years and does not live with the best of company. Trauma makes the brain do some really weird things sometimes and sometimes even shuts down our perceptions of reality. Though I wasn't bastardizing manga or walking around in a diaper, I did go through a point where I just pretty much lived in a zone and went through some really weird stuff that I thought was real, when it really wasn't.

It took a conscious effort to right myself and get clear minded again, and yes I was on drugs for a short bit so I could focus better. I also had a lot of family to help me, and I don't think Chris has that. I would be genuinely surprised if he makes a recovery, but you never know.

The internet is a horrible place...for just anyone, it doesn't matter who you are. But for someone with autism like Chris chan, it's that hellishness multiplied by ten.
