Odds are it was a religiously motivated attack by an immigrant from a predominantly Muslim nation. It's just like how the odds are the Patriots will win the super bowl again. You can cite a bunch of statistics and figures but at the end of the day yes... it is being proverbially pulled from an ass. If this upsets you oh well.

Well stabbing spree could be non-Islamist(there have been Neo-Nazi plots at a stabbing spree at a gay club).
