Honestly though, the local cafes have more business than the Starbucks.

Literally the only reason I'd go to a Starbucks is if I have neither any nearby cafe option nor access to a coffee maker.

I like their chocolate croissants and during summer, they sell a dragonfruit refresher that’s actually decent. I’m not a fan of their coffee.

Never had chocolate croissants. I don't think they are available here, unfortunately. :(

They’re easy to make, really. But if you’re in Seoul: https://foursquare.com/top-places/seoul ... croissants

I should have specified: No chocolate crossiants from Starbucks. i've had ones from Paris Baguette. They're okay, but the place is a franchise, so nothing special. I have to try out the other places.

They’re not in the menu in Europe either. At least not in the UK. Starbucks has specialty items tailored to countries. For example, the fruit refreshers that are common over here, are not sold in Europe. But certain teas you can get in Europe aren’t in the US menu. Starbucks Japan, for example, releases a sakura flavored latte every Spring over there. You guys probably have items not sold over here.

I haven't visited there many times, so I'm not too sure, but we usually have macaroons and cheesecakes. We do have multi-grained Korean-style drinks, but that's it.

Yes, but it's not exactly something that resembles Korean traditional food. Starbucks Japan has something related to their cherry blossoms.

Maybe you guys should suggest this, like the sale of traditional sweets, to Starbucks Korea.

We do have a few, and that would be a really, great idea. The time and effort, though, may be quite immense, though, unless they can condense it somehow.

The stores probably have paper slips that customers can fill in for suggestions. Or it can be done through Starbucks Korea’s website. If it doesn’t pan out, well, it doesn’t. But if there’s enough interest, you could get them to sell certain items. Maybe.

Anyways, coffee. The Sith Lord wants some. Time to brew.

I was about to say that I'm usually a green tea guy but I just brewed a fresh Americano and I'm really enjoying it.
Then about four sips in I spilled the entire mug all over my table, pants, and carpet.

I think we don't even have Starbucks in our country :lol2:

But I don't miss them either (have been in few), we have quite many nice local cafes with way better, not overpriced coffee.

Damn, I feel like betrayal right now, coming to coffee discussion thread, although I am drinking tea at moment. But I had two cups of coffee already during a day, and it's almost midnight here.

I was surprised when I tried them. They're a lot more flavorful than most K cups, which I generally tolerate only for convenience and not because they brew a superior cuppa joe.

Bustelo is much better out of a percolator.

Starbucks here never puts milk or sugar in the coffee. That's up to you at the milk stand.

When I get my chai latte they put it in -- but then again, it's a latte.
