BLOOMBERG ENRAGES TRUMP BY BUYING GREENLAND

New York -

In an apparently successful attempt to get under the skin of Donald Trump, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has purchased Greenland from Denmark.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, would not disclose the price that Bloomberg paid for Greenland but indicated that it was an “all-cash offer.”

“Mr. Bloomberg has a lot of money,” Frederiksen added.

News of Bloomberg’s purchase of Greenland reportedly infuriated Trump, who immediately ordered his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to make an offer to buy the Faroe Islands from Denmark.

Within minutes, however, Denmark rebuffed Kushner’s bid. “We do not believe Donald Trump is capable of running the Faroe Islands,” Frederiksen said.

As for Bloomberg, his campaign released a brief statement about the historic purchase of the 836,330-square-mile landmass, saying only, “Mike gets it done.”

You know, I'm pretty sure I lose a bet if Trump survives to the 2020 election. And I mean like literally survives, not politically survives.

I don't want Trump to be assassinated, I just expected it to happen at some point.

All-cash offer. Deal closes this week boys. Good job everyone. We ran a competitive process and got the best bid for our client. Scotch & sodas at 1Oak tonight? I heard the girls from Citigroup are going to be there.

I had a hunch the CIA would give him the JFK treatment at some point, but I think people would view Trump's assassination as such as obvious conspiracy (regardless of if there was one on or not) that it'd lead to civil war and basically give some deranged right-wingers to assassinate the next Democratic president.

As stupid as the CIA often is, I don't think they're that dumb.

I figured he was inflammatory enough that he'd eventually piss off some nutcase somehow that would take a shot at him. Not a fan of murder, even of people I don't like, though, so I'm glad he's managed to literally dodge that bullet so far.

AP source: Barr tells people he might quit over Trump tweets

If only. I bet it's just another susanmissive show to throw critics off his ass and continue to be Trump's cleaner at the Justice Department.

This is like a Catch 44 for Barr. On the one hand, Barr is no Trump loyalist; he served as AG under Bush I so he knows his way around the post. On the other hand, him leaving would allow Trump to appoint an actual sycophant who would actually capitulate the Justice Dept. to Trump's personal interest.

I mean, the phrases make sense, but I don't think Trump is going to be assassinated, nor worthy of being assassinated. Kennedy era was when war was on DEFCON 4. This era is different.

It must be a truly soul-crushing experience to work for Trump if one isn't a sycophant - I still can vividly remember the dead look in that Spicer fellow's eyes whenever he came out to say the latest blatant untruth.

Then that means the wages aren't competitive. But god forbid we make agribusinesses pay fair market wages like every other industry.
