Next time, we may not be so lucky as to get a Trump. If this goes back to business as usual, we may end up with something far worse. This is my fundamental concern with Mr. Biden. Trump was a warning sign things are coming under strain. One can not have a system where the basic ability to even have kids is a luxury or it can not produce 10 cent masks. We barely escaped total meltdown globally thanks to the Pandemic. Luck doesn't compensate for skill forever.

If things go back to Business as usual after Trump more shit will happen. Protests and violence will become the norm as more and more talk openly about overthrowing the system.

The pandemic has only exacerbated problems within the system that we find ourselves in, to pretend that it somehow saved it is also an incredibly bad take. That is not even to mention it's a logical contradiction for things "to go back to normal after Trump" while also having an increase in protests and violence as people talk about overthrowing the system.

I have no idea what you are trying to say here. Are you saying that it’s stupid to think that Trump is a savior? Or are you saying that it’s stupid to think that the pandemic has saved the US or something?

In either case I agree. I’m not saying that Trump is the key but that he’s a warning of the discontent in the nation. A discontent that will continue to rise if nothing is done.

I didn’t say that things would go back to normal after Trump. I said that if the leadership goes back to business as usual more protests and violence will continue.

Already 41% of Americans believe that socialism is good for America, 11% of Americans are self-identified fascists. That’s over 50% of Americans who are dissatisfied with the current system, going back to the days of Obama will not fix anything.
