Given your persistent history and absolute refusal to alter your conduct, I am forced to grant less leeway for time elapsed between offenses. We have here a clear pattern of behavior that is not improving and the gentler approach has failed to achieve anything.

So I will spell it out: The time elapsed between offenses has become meaningless since you persist in the exact same behaviors over and over again. Were it not for the Covid rules currently inserting an additional 1-month ban tier, you would be listed at "DEAT on next offense." Most people I have met, no matter how interested in politics, have cared at least somewhat about policy. The idea that most people are sheep walking behind catchphrases is a belief that is borne both from a feeling of superiority, and the unpopularity of your ideas. If only they were enlightened, then everyone would be a minarchist!

Other historical circumstances aside, the reason for that is to be found in many Boomer movies and media and the likes where directors and creators created over the past decades a heavily idealized picture of their own childhood, which took place in that era. Now people who grew up with those movies adopt this kind of idea of the 1950s being the "good old time".

And its really the ultimative goal of many conservatives etc. if you dig down, you'd end in the 1950s. Pleasentville or - if you're more lucky - Hill Valley, November 5, 1955.

So, we got some Supreme Court rulings today:

1. Supreme Court ruling on 2nd Amendment and New York gun law: he court said that it sent the case back because after the justices agreed to hear the dispute, the law at issue was changed. This is somewhat of a blow to 2nd Amendment advocates. Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas dissented.

2. Supreme Court rules for insurers over $12 billion Obamacare claims. This is a blow to the Trump Administration I believe.

3. Supreme Court asks for additional briefings in Trump finances cases. The Court is unsure whether they can "decide who should prevail in the dispute" or as quoted "whether the political question doctrine or related justiciability principles bear on the Court's adjudication of these cases". Depending on how they rule, this could be bad for Trump or Democrats.
