That seems a fair assessment.

Not terribly surprising considering this is an international place and Trump is... rather decidedly unpopular in most of the rest of the world, even among Conservatives. There's exceptions, of course, though.

It's not that the GD threads are scary, they're hypocritically mislabelled and falsely advertised. You read the title and the first post and expect to find debates on Trump's policy plus the occasional meme (as he is a never-ending supply of those). You read on only to find out here know here intends on debating or intellectually discussing his policy, only stating their opinion and wait for someone else to state theirs so they can go again.

Those aren't mutually exclusive categories. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that getting rid of the blithering idiot who wants you to shoot up bleach to fight the coronavirus is a necessary first step towards making America great again.

Trump didn't actually claim this. He asked about it and then when he was asked if he was suggesting it, said "no".
