Since being targeted by President Trump Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and his family have been placed under 24 hour protection by the US Army, and may be moved to an Army base for further security.

Think about that. A US Army officer and his family are not safe in the United States because he's being attacked by his own Commander in Chief. The danger isn't ISIS or Al Qaeda, it's American citizens, spurred on by the President.

Ifreann, I don't think President Trump is going to send his mob to hurt the Proud Honorable LT Col Alexander Vindman, who by his testimony proved he wanted to influence US Foreign Policy to his views not President Trump. At least Lt Col Alexander Vindham practically testified President Trump did not do anything wrong, nothing he testified was damaging to President Trump.

While you clearly think highly of Lt. Col. Vindman, Trump does not, and the US Army believes that there is a danger that someone will attack Vindman or his family.

Ohh, he'll be the sacrificial lamb. Unfortunately for the GOP, I have a feeling if they do that to him, he'll turn on them. Not to mention, even if Trump is spared the full brunt of the attack and uses Giuliani as a shield, he won't be able to escape the fact that he helped orchestrated this mess in the first place. He's going to be damaged regardless.



I find it less likely that Pence would be removed: I don't see Republicans doing that, not without concrete evidence in the event they do remove Trump. But I feel Pelosi wouldn't want to be President: she would likely hand the keys to someone else by resigning if Pence was removed as well.

I have deliberately kept my small number of posts in this thread to either answering factual queries on process and historical precedent, or encouraging Miami to follow forum etiquette.

But following Ambassador Sondland's ongoing damning testimony - testimony which, it bears repeating, comes from a major Republican donor to the President's inauguration, who owes his ambassadorial role to his generosity to the President - there can no longer be any question as to whether the President did anything wrong.

The only real question at this point is whether he's going to get away with it.

I strongly disagree and doubt this is going to be the Democrats smoking gun that will take down President Trump. But as I have predicted I think President Trump will win reelection during the 2020 elections with the help of the Democrats partisan impeachment process.

So how is "quid pro quo is real and I have the receipts not just to prove it but to prove that a whole host of high ranking people in the White House and State Department were in on it" not damaging?

By 100% no biased I meant ANY media, of ANY type. I was saying how only the raw data and evidence is useful in a time where reality is bent all around the internet. And I’m sure that there are databases somewhere made by some college grad that just compile information with 0% bias.

Not necessarily true: Nixon appointed four to the court (Burger, Blackmun, Powell, and Rehnquist) and three of them ruled against him (Rehnquist recused himself). So no, I don't worry, except for Kavanaugh, whom is known to like the Executive Branch to have tremendous power.
