With the disjoint between the houses, and the hyper-partisan atmosphere, I'd be surprised if there IS a budget this year. Several years in Obama's term had no official budget, they funded by department and with continuing resolutions.

Betty McCollum said the administration "is negotiating with (Laos) to allow for the deportation of longtime Hmong and Lao residents of the United States back to the country of their birth."

McCollum, a Minnesota Democrat, blasted the policy as "a direct attack on my constituents and their family members" and called the proposal "unconscionable."

The proposal could reportedly affect more than 4,500 Hmong and Lao U.S. residents who are not citizens and who have committed crimes or have deportation orders against them. Then you'll happily hear that the Senate Budget Committee won't take it up. It honestly is only an aspirational document that just highlights the President's priorities. One of those lacking highlights is the fact it offers no new funds for homeless. It does offer $2.8 Billion in grants to the homelessness assistance but cuts HUD by $47.9 (15%).
