Unemployment is down? Well that's great, really. Now more people can work for shit wages that don't pay for anything and struggle with debt, stress, and depression as they scrap out a living trying to eat, sleep, and just survive in a country that refuses to pay people living wages on the federal level.

Talk to me when *THAT* changes, and then I'll believe America's becoming "great again".

Tbh federal minimum wage shouldn't exist at all. The country is far too large and varied for it to ever be in a good balanced spot nationwide.

And yet without one we're left to the mercy of individual state wages, which they can set to be as low as they like and no one can stop them. Unless of course you have a better alternative to prevent that kind of abuse?
