Impeachment as you have been told many many times; is a political process. Talking about political motivation is irrelevent.

It should be noted that a simple majority is needed to impeach a President in the House. It's in the Senate that a trial is held and requires 2/3's to convict and remove a President from Office. So, he'll be impeached no doubt but he likely won't be removed.

The Democrats might or might not take a vote on articles of impeachment in the house. The Democrats might impeach President Trump in the house but they wont have him convicted in the senate and removed from office as President of America - The USA.

I have heard of the rumor that if it was a secret ballot, then the likes of 20-30 Republicans would vote for it. Of course, this isn't a criminal trial case (it's a political process) and I would like to know how the Senate votes on impeachment for transparency sakes because if it is a popular position by that point to remove a President and the Republicans don't, it could hurt their prospects as compared to a secret ballot.

I know and I understand that is what all you leftists and anti Trumpers would love to see happen. The problem with your scenario is even if many Republican senators voted to convict President Trump out of office on a secret vote. Eventually soon it would some how come out who voted how. Even if it didn't come out who voted how, it would put Republicans like Mitt Romney and others in suspicion with their base. I seriously doubt a secret vote would be held. I seriously doubt President Trump will be convicted out of office by the senate, especially during an election season.

I and millions of American citizens have a different take on it. The Democrats, Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are not concerned about the truth, they are concerned with destroying President Trump for political reasons. If the whistleblower were to testify behind closed doors as I previously posted, where he or her could be questioned directly by the Democrats and the Republicans on the committee, it would be fair to both sides.

I would not put it past shifty Schiff as President Trump calls Democrat Adam Schiff of answering the questions in writing of the anti Trump whistleblower himself, as he twisted President Trump's words against him on national TV and Video to make it sound worse. How convenient for the Democrats and Adam Schiff they get to hide behind the whistleblowers safety.
