The flag has only upheld the rights of white males....therefore anyone else should really think twice about standing for it.

It was mandatory for me to stand AND say it until highschool. Every school is different

White males were pretty much the only people protected by this country. You've heard of the 3/5 compromises? Women didn't gain a right to vote nationally until 1919.
