I'm pissed off I can't say "fuck my life" in frustration in my own damn home as a tension reliever without my guardian or fosterparents mocking me and going "boohoo" and being told to not say the f word or I could get punished(or just get the guardian mad at me, not a really bad punishment), so what the hell am I supposed to say or do? I can't punch anything, not going to cuss in public like that, I don't know what else to do as a extremely quick stress reliever that takes less than 5 seconds literally whenever I need it.

It's whenever I get really frustrated about something-especially when I do something when hormones are acting up and it doesn't work out well(playing videogames, on the cusp of beating something), mixed with my own issues with my friends-though those are mostly solved.

Well, I don't know if it's going to work with you, but whenever I get upset at something I read my favourite stories/books, singing, or listening to music. It helps calm me down a bit, but I guess it'll take for more than 5 seconds.

And to the 'ok boomer' part......I don't know but I always think that it's hilarious? Though it's going to get old soon.

12 years ago, a little kitten walked up to me in an animal shelter and bit me on the finger, and it was love at first site. I scooped him up, called him Jake, and took him home with me.

Sadly, as all other good things must come to an end, so did his life. He went into renal failure and I was forced to make a decision: put him to sleep or let him suffer until he finally left us. It was the worst decision I ever had to make in my life. When I left him in the exam room, I left part of my heart with him.

During his time on this Earth, I went through some pretty rough patches in life. When I was 10, we moved in with my grandma because we could no longer afford our house payment. When I was 11, my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease (and later died when I was 16), and when I was 13, my dad was diagnosed with Addison’s disease. On top of that I transferred schools multiple times, was bullied, and was diagnosed with depression. And that’s not even the entirety of it.

Jake had the biggest heart. In many ways, he was more human than most humans I know. When I, or anyone else in our household was sick, he was right there, purring. When I was upset about something, he would listen, and would headbutt me to make me feel better.

Jake entered my life just as I was about to hit my low point and was there for me through it all. Even though he was sick for at least 3 weeks (and had probably started deteriorating months ago), he held out for me until he made sure I was going to be okay. And now that I am, his work here was complete and he could move on.

We may be parting ways today, but many years from now it will be my turn to cross over, and I’ll meet him once again.

Thank you for being there for me, Jake. I’ll miss watching Star Trek with you. Say hi to grandma for me.

It's tough, the whole tenor of the house changes. When we lost our cat back in '08, Herself wouldn't consider getting another for a year. She thought it would be like trying to replace the old one. I never saw it that way. I should have just gone and adopted one, she would have folded in an instant.
