So I haven't been on here lately.

That's because I was wrongfully arrested during a traffic stop, and now I'm too stressed to really do much internetting at the moment :/

Had a gun pulled on me, but thankfully I wasn't harmed. I posted bail and my court date is in mid-February. Essentially, I was with a couple of friends. At 1:20 AM we were pulled over on highway by the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police). One of them had a warrant out for their arrest because the RCMP had raided his cottage and founded 30-round mags (magazine limits in Canada range between 5-10 rounds for center-fire weapons).

We were returning from a firing range and they had weapons with them, of course. Theirs were in padlocked duffel bags, whilst mine were locked in the trunk of my vehicle. As you can imagine, the cops weren't a fan of the duffel bags containing rifles and shotguns. We were arrested at gunpoint as they were "afraid that we may try something."

Still livid. I was charged with 8 counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, for all the firearms that were in the duffel bags. Because padlocked in a duffel bag underneath the back seat is clearly dangerous. Plus they weren't even mine, they were my friends'. Don't know what to do.

CLARIFICATION: We weren't shooting late at night. That was in the afternoon, but we continued going out after that, with our firearms locked in the vehicle.

That's really silly on the part of the police. I hope you get everything back, if anything was confiscated. It's good that you're ok. I hope everything falls in your favor.

It doesn't help that I'm brown lol. Anyways, I had a VZ-58, a Derya MK-12, and a Beretta PX4 Storm in the trunk. I got the rifle and shotgun back, but they still have my PX4 Storm, pending my court appearance. That was a gift from my brother.
