Have you ever seen The Queen of Versailles. It's about this lady working at IBM and one day a fellow programmer shows her something he's coded. It's a countdown clock to his retirement. She's like 'oh man, is this what I have to look forward to for the rest of my life?'

So she quits, goes and wins Ms Florida and marries a billionaire.

So there's hope for us all is the moral of that story.

There's always hope. This banker feller from Maine I met once told me, "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies." The trick is figuring out how to get there.

I wouldn't listen to him, his method involved crawling through a river of shit.

Idk, summer's looking to be excellent. Especially with that bloke denying he plagiarized in another server even though the evidence can easily be seen with our own eyes.

I am never forget the day I first meet the great
Lobachevsky. In one word he told me secret of success in
Mathematics: Plagiarise!

Plagiarise
Let no one else's work evade your eyes
Remember why the good Lord made your eyes
So don't shade your eyes
But plagiarise, plagiarise, plagiarise -
Only be sure always to call it please 'research'

Wasn't math, sadly. Hell, it wasn't even a research paper that he plagiarized. He plagiarized quite a few Wikipedia articles for use in articles about his own nation.

It is. It could be worse, Costa could be sitting in a pool of blood and tears.

When it's really hot I sometimes take a quick sponge bath, a moist wash cloth, wipe yourself down, you'll cool off nicely.

I am never forget the day my first book is published.
Every chapter I stole from somewhere else.
Index I copy from old Vladivostok telephone directory.
This book was sensational!

Changing title to "The Eternal Triangle",
With Brigitte Bardot playing part of hypotenuse.

I prefer a cold shower or cold bath myself.

But fortunately, it's pretty temperate here. Room temperature is at 20°C, but outside, it's -6°C, with a wind chill of -12°C.

Ironically that's happened to me a couple of times. But the wind's shifted to the north now so it's at least cooler.

31°C in Manila. I have an electric fan running and if it weren't for the cool breezes, I'd seriously consider firing up the AC because one, Junior gets pretty ticked off when it's too hot for him to sleep and two, I sweat a lot.

Could definitely be worse. Imagine running in 37 degree (Celsius, of course) heat. Basically every city in the tropics lmao.
