There was a criminal justice conference today and my college went to it.

My forensics professor told a forensic scientist about me. Apparently he was quite impressed with how I can do mental math and how I notice details. I wish I could have talked to that guy some more, but I didn't get the chance.

And then we competed in a quiz bowl and we won, which made up for an embarrassing mistake I made during the course of it. I meant to answer "D" and accidentally said "A." I caught myself and tried to take it back, but the moderator said that she had to take my first answer, which was wrong. She said it broke her heart to have to tell me that she couldn't take it because I have "such a sweet little voice."

Though if I am correct, it's way more intense than I thought.
