Everything you take for a cold is ... well, not exactly a placebo but all they do is treat symptoms, not the underlying virus. That makes me crazy, when companies advertise cold symptom suppression stuff, because you might feel somewhat better but you're still freaking contagious! Just stay the fuck home for a week (to ten days).
